Scheme – Sweet (remake) f. DJ Scend

It's good to hear some new heat from Scheme. It's been a little awhile so hopefully this is just the beginning of an onslaught for 2012. Let's get it! I'm also glad that there's artists jumping on Commons tracks and not riding the Drake/"stay schemin" bandwagon.

Chris Burden – “Metropolis II” @ LACMA

Visual artist Chris Burden opened last week at LACMA with this incredible piece, that I'm extremely mad I'm not in LA to see. The sculpture is called Metropolis II. The sculpture is a model of a miniature city and took 4 years to complete. Chris took his time to revolve the city around an intricate transportation system. The system includes 18 roadways, one 6 lane freeway, train tracks, miniature cars, a network of buildings, and of approximately 100,000 cars circulating every hour. Prrrrretty crazy.
