Big Brother is a fan of blogs

Wired magazine has revealed the investment arm of the Central Intelligence Agency has invested in a software firm called Visible Technologies that specializes in monitoring social media sites, including blogs, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter and Amazon. Wired reporter Noah Shachtman writes, “America’s spy agencies want to read your blog posts, keep track of your Twitter updates—even check out your book reviews on Amazon.”

Bottom line is that it's illegal to invade someone's privacy but, in a country that revolves around money and self interest, our rights are broken everyday. I only see it getting worse if we don't make it aware that we know that it's a problem. I can't even check out a book with out the CIA scanning my library card. There always going to say that "it's to increase the protection of homeland security." How about they bring back all our soldiers overseas so they can secure our nation not invade other's.
