The PrePeat Printer: No Paper and No Ink

It prints on sensitive plastic sheets and it uses a precision thermal head to print out text and images in gray scale. Feed the used sheets through the printer and a different temperature will erase whats on them. You can use a single sheet up to a thousand times. The PrPeat printer costs $5500 and a the plastic paper costs $3.30 each. Yeah, alot of dough but OhGizmo.com made a graph showing the costs of liquids per ml.

Crazy to see how ink towers over the others. The Japanese are at it again and I'm sure HP is plotting.
